Faeman Quest publication pushed to January 2011

Herbie Brennan’s new stand-alone novel set in the Faerie Wars universe is now scheduled to be published by Bloomsbury in the U.S. and U.K. early in January 2011. No reason has been given by the publishers for this change, but publication now coincides with the American launch of Herbie’s second Shadow Project title The Doomsday Box, published by HarperCollins U.S. under their Balzer and Bray imprint.

The renamed Faeman Quest is the story of Mella, a feisty half-human, half faerie princess of the Realm who sets out to visit her grandmother and ends up trying desperately to prevent a war.

Written in response to pressure from fans of the original New York Times best-selling Faerie Wars series, Faeman Quest answers many questions about what happened to several much-loved Faerie Wars characters.

Madame de Gaulle’s Penis Now an Ebook

Although best known as a children’s/young adult author, Herbie Brennan occasionally ventures hilariously into adult fiction that is wholly, totally and absolutely unsuitable for

younger readers. Latest example is his wildly

funny fictional memoir of a Sixties sex maniac

who fell foul of Madame de Gaulle’s penis and

determined to wreak a terrible revenge... if only

his imagination would permit it.

This book is NOT available in bookstores any-

where, but may be purchased by clicking here or

on Amazon.com, and Amazon.co.uk.

Ebook versions for iPad, iPhone, Android, Kindle and other

readers are also available.

Italy celebrates 1.5 million sales

Herbie Brennan’s Italian publishers Mondadori celebrated a million and a half worldwide sales of the Faerie Wars saga by issuing an omnibus edition of all four books in a single volume jacketed with a specially commissioned cover by internationally renowned fantasy artist Paolo Barbieri.

The 1,473 page omnibus edition jumped directly into the Italian best-seller lists within days of publication.
